• The self-cleaning brushroll has both Powerfins and bristles, which work together to methodically comb through the hair that you're cleaning up so that it doesn't get tangled. It's a continual maintenance system also - the more you vacuum, the more any hair is broken down and sucked up into the dust cup.

• The self cleaning brush is Amazing!!! I have two daughters and my previous Shark vacuum would get tons of hair clogged. I have not had to cut any hair on the new Shark vacuum system. The technology is worth the vacuum cost.
