Check on off switch. May have accidentally bumped it off.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine is a couple years old. But I’ve had this problem twice now and will share what worked this time. It wouldn’t charge no matter how much I jiggled the bumpers etc. It wasn’t switched off, it had power. I turned it off on the side of the vacuum for about ten seconds and then switched it back on and somehow it started charging again! I have no idea why.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I started up my one month old Shark IQ Robot and it started cleaning for about 15 minutes and then I noticed that it had stopped dead in it's tracks. So I tried to put it manually on the dock thinking it was out of battery. But then after reading some of the comments here, I checked to see if it was turned on. That was the problem! It must have bumped into something that hit the on/off switch and so it was just off. I was thankful that this was the only problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My Shark robot is new also. I’ve used twice and found it dead on the charger. Couldn’t get any lights to come on the robot but the charger would light up green or blue. I opened the battery compartment took out battery and gently pushed on the connection plug underneath. Now it’s charging!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I called Shark about the problem and was told that I had to replace the dock station charger.. I purchased one from them..
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Same problem here. This is my second Shark ION. It is not as good as original. Besides the battery charging problem, this latest version does not go along the baseboards as previous machine, therefore not as much cleanup . Once it hits a wall it goes off in another direction instead of hugging the wall.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had same issue and finally tried pulling the pan that catches the debris and putting back into its chamber. It worked. It was not closed properly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Ok your shark is dead and you put it on the charger and it won't charge. When this happens just slowly twist the vacuum back and forth until the light on the charger turns blue. If it goes back to green repeat the back and forth until it turns blue and hold in that position for a short time when the blue battery indicator comes on on the vacuum you should be able to let go and it will charge
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My Shark Robot did this as well. I found there was a connection issue with the battery. I unplugged the battery and reconnected it. It powered up immediately and the battery was fully charged.
