- Answer I use this all over my home, tile, carpet, hardwood floors, Persian carpets, and all kinds of throw rugs. Performs nicely on all surfaces.

- Answer I usually just leave mine on the charger until I need it. The instructions said once it is charged it shuts off as battery protection not to over charge. I don’t see any reason you could not take it off though. Hope this helps.

- Answer I assume by Blue Light indicator you mean the light indicating that the unit is on? The switch that turns on the unit actually lights up blue when switched on. In addition, the battery pack has three blue lights indicating it is fully charged. These lights go out as the battery charge is reduced. Both of these lights are at or near the top of the vacuum. QuestionFirst use of the battery requires giving it a full charge and discharging it completely. How can I discharge the battery completely? Do I have to use vacuum for however long it takes to discharge or is there some way to run it without holding it?

QuestionWhy doesn't this vacuum pick up dog hair on my short carpet?I paid 370.00 dollars for this vacuum and it's a piece of junk the collection cup can only pick up about 1 quarter of a cup of dirt and has to be emptied...I want my money back...

- Answer I'm not sure, I have had no problems picking up dog hair with mine, I have a Yorkie and husky who she'd their weight in hair but have had no issues. Could it possibly be the roller or maybe the suction? Double check the connections on the vac. Or it may just be a defective unit, I would get with shark's support, they are great and extremely helpful!

QuestionMy son bought me this same vacuum on Sat the 10th for my birthday in store in Anderson SC and used his best buy card. I see you advertise for $376.99 but we was charged $450. Why charge that price if they are $376.99?

- Answer Was it possibly in the wrong spot? This same thing happened to me at my local Best Buy and when I told them they gave it to me for the cheaper price, since they had it marked wrong. I would have your son contact the store to see what they are willing to do. Unless, maybe he bought the extended warranty?

- Answer It is the same as on TV but does not come with all you see on TV. The charger is for charging one battery at a time where the TV has a dual charger, and it also does not have the under appliance attachment....that was the most notable difference.
