Do you ever need to replace the filter? null

Shark Navigator®’s filter system will last the life of your vacuum, with minimal maintenance and zero replacement costs. The filters are washable by rinsing them with water. We recommend that the pre-motor filters should be washed every 3 months under normal use. The post-motor filter should be washed once every 12 months or as needed. We hope this information helps. I have not in over 2 yrs. I do clean it though. Let it dry completely before putting it back in.

Clean the filter every two months with clear water. Be sure the filter is dry before using the vacuum.
