“Does brush roller tun on while u r doing hardwood floor”

• We would like to let you know the brushroll does not spin while in the barefloor setting.

• I just bought this model and turned it on to be surprised that this roller does indeed turn on when in the bare floor setting - I am not happy about this

• Shark said No, however, they have changed it, and it does indeed spin at a slower speed, when on hardwood floor setting. This in combination with the suction setting, is great, because it allows for vacuuming throw rugs, and gets into cracks in the hardwood floor without spraying the dirt all over the room.

• This vacuum has two options on the power button. One click on is for hard floor, a second click is for carpet. It has to be turned on to carpet for the rollers to turn on.

• On Pet Vac stick the brush turns on both settings. No way to make it stop, although it occasionally does so randomly. NOT happy about stiff, spinning brush on my hardwood. Stupid design idea.
