It does remove cat hair and some type of dust. The area I have it in is less than 500 square feet and it doesn’t do much especially since it claims to work in a 1400 square foot area. It does not remove viruses I’m not even sure if it removes cat dander. I don’t think that the filter will last 5 years

Please try again later.I returned mine, in my house with 5 dogs, dog hair, dander, and dog smell it registered air quality 100 and never changed, just shut off, what would anyone need it for then? It did nothing, and my air quality is definitely NOT 100. Read all the reviews from other websites.
