• I am on my third shark and this last one only lasted 3 weeks before it started making weird noises. Store policy is return in 15 days, which I did not know. So as to your question It doesn't work on regular carpet so who knows. I will never buy another shark . Only advise I can give is buy the insurance cause you will need it. I have used the insurance and returned all three times. I am not buying the insurance on this exchange because I will just throw it out and change to dyson.
