• Hello, The Shark - Rotator Lift Away Speed Upright Vacuum does have a belt to turn the brushroll. They can be purchased directly from Shark at 1-800-798-7398. Best Regards, Customer Service Team

• These do have belts, for the beater bar. Funny though, for the Shark vacs I've owned, I've never had to replace a belt nor had any belt issues; competitive products I've owned have used up belts like they were free.....

• Hi Anonymous, YES - It does have a belt, which is guaranteed for five years. It is not visible when opening the brushroll housing in the motorized floor nozzle. But, there is a closed housing to the right of the brushroll, which houses the belt to the motor.

• Just inspected mine, can't find a belt anywhere appears to be a direct gear drive.
