Hello Lulu, Grat question! Essentially the functioning of the machines themselves are exactly the same. For more detail please visit the links below to see the differences. -http://www.sharkclean.com/products/0/all/84/shark-rotator-powered-lift-away-speed/ ( model# NV681) -http://www.sharkclean.com/products/0/all/85/shark-rotator-powered-lift-away-speed/ ( Model# NV682)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Shark calls the 681 a "2-in-1" and the 682 a "3-in-1". It looks like the difference is that the more expensive NV 682 includes the canister caddy, a wheeled platform that holds the main vacuum unit and turns it into a canister vacuum (thus being the third mode of the 3-in-1). It can get really confusing watching video reviews of Shark products to see certain features and attachments that some models had, only to find out that recent versions don't have those, or have substituted with something else.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not much. Google Shark NV681 compare NV682.
