• The suction is great but it is LOUD! It is also awkward when I take it off the main upright . I would like a shorter or more flexible part.

• The noise level is not bad at all. We previously owned a shark navigator and this shark is quieter and stronger. It picked up dirt from our carpet that the navigator missed and that is saying alot considering we thought very highly of the navigator. This is an excellent vacuum.

• I don't have a dB meter, but it's the quietest one I've owned and the most powerful. I have a 2 story house and my kids sleeping upstairs wouldn't be affected if I vacuumed downstairs.
