Bought this model yesterday, after my 20 y/o Dyson finally bit the dust. I do NOT recommend it if you have wool rugs. It's way too hard to push on them and even harder to pull the vacuum back, plus it beats the heck out of the rug, even on the highest setting. Also do not recommend if you have arthritis or are older as both my husband and I find this design to be awkward to manage and use. The suction is great, true, but if I can't use it, that doesn't matter! It will be returned on Monday.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Oh Heck No! LOL! This is a very good vacuum, but like any other type that has good suction, it will grab the rug or floor mat or any loose items like charger cables and try to wrap them in the brush... you can probably use the hand tool but not the main upright! This vacuum surprised me, it has as much suction as my Shop-Vac!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, we have various wool rugs (different nap) and this vacuum cleans all of them extremely well!!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you turn it to the lowest suction setting and go slow and consistent but not too slow then it shouldnt catch. Theres a trick to it, but it does have to be on the lowest suction.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes , I absolutely love the Shark vacuums
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We would like to inform you that this unit works great on most carpets, however, it may struggle with some high/plush pile carpets. We recommend contacting the manufacturer of the flooring to verify compatibility.
