“Does this vacuum work on washable area rugs? Many vacuums just suck them up with high suction, it needs to have a suction adjustment setting. Thank you”

I do use this vacuum on several area rugs with very few snagging instances. However, because of the vacuum suction and lightness of area rugs, you should move the vacuum only forward. I find if you don't go back and forth it doesn't snag the throw rug. Also avoid the corners.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I dont own any washable rugs,but this does have three settings for either hard surface,low rug,and higher rug. This is the most powerful vacuum that ive ever owned so id be skeptical about it on a thin washable rug. Perhaps on the highest setting it might be okay. On a side note,this vacuum is also pretty heavy to push around. I love it,but its not for the faint of muscle thats for sure.
