A:Answer YES! It is! I was surprised, too. Wow, and it really sucks, too (in a good way). Because of the spinning roller (this is for the main unit, too) it actually feels a bit 'draggy'. Definitely do not get it near anything you don't want it to pick up. That "ahh, Ill just vacuum up close to that random piece of papers, yarn, shoestring, whatever....and pick it up after I vacuum..." is definitely NOT the case with this. I presume its bigger, full sized brother is even more prone to this. It will eat pretty much anything in front of it, and then you may be picking it back out of the head or tube. Remember that scene from the movie "Mr. Mom" where the vacuum (an old stand-up Eureka or Hoover, probably- good stuff!) eats the blanket? That is this machine in 2021.
