Will this handle a lot of cat hair? null

You have to empty the collector a lot, more frequently than suggested. I have 2 Dogs, short hair.- And I find I have to empty frequently to keep the floor clean. The collection container is verysmall and cannot hold much.

I don't know what is meant by a lot of cat hair...my wife has a cat and this vacuum is more then capable of keeping up. Handles the hair on the stairs and the couch just fine. The only place the cat hair is visible is dark clothing after she jumps out of your lap.

We would like to let you know that this vacuum is good for picking up cat hair. Depending on the amount of cat hair you may need to empty the dust cup more often.
