QuestionI am looking for a vacuum mainly for hardwood floors. We do have two small carpeted bathrooms. So far I really like this one and the Shark Navigator Bagless Upright, Model #NV22S. Does anyone have suggestions as to which would be best?

- Answer I have a combination of carpet,hardwood, and tile floors. We also have a long-haired retriever mix..It has been great for all surfaces!

- Answer Hello. I am in my early 70s and have owned our shark ninja 105 for over five years. I love how easy it is to maneuver, carry, and empty. I definitely recommend it for any “elderly” person!

- Answer Yes, you can turn the automatic roller on and off. This is what makes it able to go from carpet to hard floor easily.

QuestionIt looks like this does not come with a hose attachment, extension to allow me to clean stairs, etc. and not tip over the vacuum. Is one available for purchase? Need this answered or I'll look at other models.....

- Answer Hello Earl, we would like to inform you that the Shark Navigator® Bagless Upright Vacuum does not have an additional hose extension available. When using this vacuum to do above floor cleaning, as well as vacuuming the stairs, we recommend holding the handle on top of the dust cup while you vacuum with the other. - Answer Unfortunately Best Buy does not sell replacement filters for this vacuum. Shark does state on the box that the vacuum requires no maintence. the spongy white filter is washable. If you damaged the filter you’d have to call shark and order one. Or at least they can lead you to a retail that has them. But as mentioned before, those filters aren’t meant to ever be replaced. They are reusable you can wash them in your sink. Call shark or file a warranty claim through Best Buy if the filter is damaged.

- Answer It’s a lot quieter than most vacuums including my Dyson. If you do. It the brush roller it is even more quiet. Strong suction as well.

This vacuum allows you to turn the brushroll off when vacuuming bare floors. When vacuum rubber mats, you may need to turn the brushroll off to assist with maneuverability.
