• According to the Sharp User's Guide for the 42" TV, all of the HDMI inputs can be used for all normal HDMI connections; such as cable box, Blu-ray player, or video game console. The only limitation is that HDMI 2 is the only one that is MHL enabled. So if you want to use an MHL device such as ROKU Streaming Stick, you have to use the HDMI 2/MHL jack.

• Yes, all 3 can support HDMI, even the MHL. I confirmed this via my Chromecast.

• Yes. I have my computer plugged into the MHL/HDMI port and it works normal as just an HDMI port.

• Yes. In addition to the 2 HDMI ports, I have a non-MHL device plugged into the MHL with a regular HDMI cord and they all work fine.
