A:AnswerFor the price, sure - why not? If you want true HDR you will need to look at something different (a Sony XBR 750 or 800 series maybe). Not all TVs that say "4K UHD HDR" are actually able to process HDR (it's done through up-sampling as most TVs at this price point do not have HDR 10 capability.)
A:AnswerThe Sharp "smart" TV (NON-ROKU) do *not* have Hulu on them nor is there any plan for it to be offered in Sharp's app store. So, if you get the Sharp with integrated Roku you get Hulu (and just about any other streaming application available.) Roku is also much more stable as a streaming platform than the Android based smart TVs. Roku also has Youtube which Amazon Fire TV does not.
A:AnswerNo. The only fees you would incur are if you download apps or channels that have a fee.
Most of the apps though do work via your comcast subscription, etc. So if you are chord cutting familiarize yourself with the "free apps" first.
ie. I watch the WATCH ESPN app and The XFINITY app most. These apps are free, but have no content without my cable service.
Hope this helps.
A:AnswerYes it does and it has tons more. Instead of calling them apps. They call them channels. Make sure you get the Roku media player channel. I had to really look for it. If you have media on a network drive like I do it makes it very easy to stream!
A:AnswerYour membership to Hulu and Netflix can be signed into on this TV so you just have to make sure you have the plan that allows multiple devices then you pay one fee but watch on all your TV’s. No Roku device needed on this TV, it’s built in.
A:AnswerYes you can easily surf up and down. A channel guide pops up when you left arrow. However there are no numbers on the remote, but its not a big deal. The quick replay button will also take you to the previous channel
