• Generally, you would have a cable box that would come with a remote to change the channel. If you are talking about free access channels for news or local programming if that is available in your area then I know you can purchase an add on piece called a Sideclick to clip onto your Roku remote. The Roku Smart TV also has access to free local news streaming apps depending on your area.
