They said is manufactured in Mexico. But I have the strong feeling the LCD panel is 100% Japanese. I was investigating all over their worldwide websites and this series (4TC60/C70) BK, AH and AL are available in Japan and Malaysia.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's a Foxconn panel from Mexico. (Foxconn Sharp, not Hisense Sharp). The 4T-B series is the nearly the same model (same reference design) but made for commercial displays. Please see attached. Rest assured, you are not getting a cheaper Hisense panel and is actually backed by commercial use that's made by Foxconn. 4T-B uses direct led and is "bare bones" intended for commercial use, while 4T-C uses full array along with android TV. The mainboard on the 4T-C will produce 120hz effective rate and delivers HDR10. The panels themselves are rated 300 brightness with 4000:1 contrast. These are spec numbers but real world results will vary. Just like silicon lottery, there is also panel lottery with brightness and contrast.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This Sharp is not a rebranded Hisense. This unit is their first return into the home entertainment segment. Sharphomeusa.com has all the details. The person who mentioned sharptvusa.com got it wrong. The model number doesn't exist on that website and yes all the old Sharp TVs from 2015-2019 are Hisense rebrand. This one is not. It's made in Mexico and is Japanese engineered
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.DogFoodBoy lost his bet. Looking at the back of the Hisense 70" and Sharp 70" they are completely different. The ports on Hisense are on the right side of the back of TV, while the ports on Sharp are on the left. Also the support structure is different. Also, the sharp has visible back firing speakers grills on the bottom of the back. Hisense has none (downward firing). Entire center horizontal line on the back of the Sharp is vented, while Hisense doesn't have that. Also look at the where the stands go. Hisense's are closer to the center, while Sharp's are closer to the edge. Two completely different TVs. DogFoodBoy's My Best Buy® Elite Membership should be revoked!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. After a month's of use, here's a tip. Enable developer mode and set background process limit to 0/none and "dont keep activities". This fixes the lagging interface some of you may experiencing. This alone will make your TV set A LOT more snappier in terms of remote control use. You're going to absolutely be blown away by the result.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Looked at this TV on www.sharptvusa.com and their phone number is: 1-888-935-8880 - this is the same number as Hisense support. I am betting its the Hisense tv and you can buy the same tv for less on BB: Hisense - 70" Class H65 Series LED 4K UHD Smart Android TV - $449 right now. Unfortunately, I was hoping for a quality Sharp TV for a bargain...no luck
