Open box means either store display unit or a customer-returned unit.

In most retail stores, when something is described as "Open Box" typically these were returned items whose boxes were already open but the item was in like-new or good condition. Stores will often sell them at a small discount and so long nothing is physically wrong with it, you should still have the warranties and may be eligible for add-on protections.

Some one bought the product and then returned it back to the store for whatever reason.I am sure their was nothing wrong with the product.The store sells it as a open box.The store still backs it product.It is fine to buy the product.
