Do you need a audio interface for this? null

Hi - The MV7 has two separate options for connection, a USB or a standard XLR. The standard XLR connection would require an interface for computers and laptops to convert the analog into a digital audio signal. Using the USB option requires no interface and is compatible with a Shure provided free desktop app to either automatically or manually configure the microphone audio to your needs. Thank you!

Yes & no. Yes if you plan to use XLR for the mic then a portable recorder that takes xlr(zoom h4 or h6h or to hook up to computer as a middle man so to speak. But if all you wish to use is the usb-c then no interface needed other than a computer.
