I mean mine was fine but if you’ve got a really really old laptop or something I could imagine that would be an issue but I have a pretty current set of windows machines and both of them were fine like I just plugged it in and it set itself up no problem. I do think it went online to download them for me so it might need Internet but overall it was pretty easy
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is plug and play. Unfortunately, after I unplugged it I have been unable to reconnect. I'm waiting for a response from tech support for the issue
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it was plug and play for me. I installed it on a Dell laptop running Windows 10 Pro, and it was auto-recognized and functional immediately after connecting. I'm not sure, but it might have loaded an update from the web, but, in any case, there was nothing I needed to download.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes the older SideTrak Slide model required the DisplayLink drivers, but the SideTrak Swivel and Solo versions do not require this. Details form SideTrak support about setup and can be found on the Support website: https://luxor.my.site.com/SideTrakSupport/s/article/ST-SideTrak-Downloads
