• I have brand new kitchen built for all new appliances. Openings for dishwasher and for wine cooler have the same width 24". No difference. You should have no problems - it's built-in design.

• Only if the dishwasher is only 24 inches wide. The wine cooler is really weird in that the shelves are to narrow to fit a bottle of wine and have limited ways to change other than removing a shelf leaving the wine cooler to only hold half the suggested number of wine bottle. I would recommend you keep looking..
