Being a "DL" model this will work on any Tracfone company Simple Mobile, Total Wireless, Straight Talk or Tracfone. Uses 3 networks AT&T, T-mobile and Verizon. Pick whichever has best coverage for you from their many brands and pick their Sim card for the carrier with them (AT&T, T-mobile or Verizon) install in Sim tray phone will program on power up for that carrier. Very pleased with my purchase.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You answerd your own question, its not unlocked or it would say "unlocked". Its "locked"(to Simple Mobile). So, no it cannot be used with other GSM carriers.. unless!, You can get simple mobile to unlock it. Prepaid phones usually require a certain amount of time with stock service providers to be unlocked, or call for a unlocking fee/policy. Phones come locked or unlocked, gsm or cdma or both gsm/cdma, standard or, dual sim if u travel.
