- Answer It sure does .. works great.. too bad simple mobile doesn't have an unlimited plan for them. Kinda ridiculous In my opinion.. the 40gb plan I purchased seemed to go pretty quick ..basic HD movie is around 3gb .. YouTube and basic internet would be less .. I'm going to try activating an extra cell I have with one of Simple Mobile's byop sim kit/$50 unlimited card and then pop it in to see if it works ..wish me luck..ha

QuestionIf purchasing online how is the barcode scanned to activate the device? Simple mobile says that mine was not scanned and so I am unable to use the device. Best Buy says that it has been activated. Anyone else have trouble?

- Answer No , I bought mine in the store and it works right! The only problem I have is that some times I have no service on the AT&T towers! I should have bought one that is compatible with ATT for better coverage!

- Answer If you're using Simple Mobile service for the device, then you'll be able to download their app and have a account. It's free and with the account comes a network optimizer for signal and range. I use it and it works great.

QuestionWe are having trouble getting our Wi-Fi holding the RING cam because of the location router and it can not be moved.My question is will this hot spot help with holding stronger Wi-Fi signal? And Yes we have tried Rings Wi-Fi extender and it didn't work

- Answer No, because the ring will be completely attached to the hotspot and depending on the settings you have on your ring camera it will go tru the data quickly. I would try to update your router maybe even switch to a mesh network or get a power line extender and put it close to the ring. Extenders will not work since you are cutting your signal in half and extending it.

- Answer Mine was set up with the zip code were my small store is, that's what I needed it for . I had no internet there, thats in Irving tx, and another thing is I took a trip to Houston and it worked out there just fine. This Mobile hotspot is just what I needed for work and on the go. - Answer Simple Mobile having Prepaid Plan where you buy for specific number of days/month when you use and not pay every month. I pay $50 for 30 days 40GB whenever I go on trip. Other times I won't pay or use.

- Answer 1 purchace item 2 purchase data from local seller, the data card I used was a Tracfone data card available in most stores. 3 register with Moxee & set up account. 4 in Moxee account use your data card to log in the minutes and specific id for the card you purchased. 5 Then you are ready to log into this hotspot device.

- Answer The device is network locked so it will only accept a SIM from Simple Mobile. To unlock it for use with any other network you must call Simple Mobile (1-877-878-7908) and ask them to unlock your device, a process which will cost you $150.

QuestionHow do I connect to the 5G wifi option instead of the 2.4G?

- Answer You have to connect to the default 2.4 GHz first, then login into the interface for it, I believe it is in 192.168.1.1 and put that in your browser and login. Then you can go to Wifi settings and turn on the 5 GHz network and turn off the 2.4 GHz. It only allows you to have one or the other on at a time.

- Answer Well there is no annual contract needed to use this. You can just pay month to month. I use one for one of my company’s locations that doesn’t have internet and is only open 3 months out of the year. The only downside is after a couple months of inactivity you have to pay extra to get it reactivated. Maybe gift it to your friends or sell it on EBay or Craigslist?
