• Not sure how many you will need, I installed one in every room with a window. I believe you can install within 12 ft of the window.

• The Glassbreak Sensor works like a non-recording microphone that listens for the sound of breaking windows. So you would one one per room. The acoustics of the room would have a big effect, but it should be able to pick up sound from about 20ft away. We would suggest focusing on rooms with a lot of windows.
