- Answer Hi! We're not quite sure what you mean. Are you saying that the device that you're viewing on is connected to the mobile hotspot? Or do you mean that it's the Video Doorbell Pro that's connecting through the hotspot? If the latter, unfortunately mobile internet hotspots may have too much lag for rapidly transmitting video. We recommend a stronger WiFi connection, for example through cable or fiber internet.

QuestionThe simplesafe website says the Video Doorbell Pro measures 4.35 x 1.35 x 1.12. This is different from your specifications. Which is correct and are there different versions of the Doorbell Pro? Width is the issue. I only have 1 3/8" on my jam.

- Answer Yes, you do. You'll need AC output between 8 and 24 volts. Transformers that plug into 3-prong outlets are available and work fine.

- Answer You can talk to and hear individuals through the doorbell camera with or without monitoring using the Simplisafe app. In my experience there is a delay of about 3 seconds regardless of internet quality. You will receive a notification that someone is at the door, and upon reviewing the notification your phone will open to your doorbell camera in “live” mode. You will be able to hear the audio outside of your door. To speak you have to press the microphone button. It’s not true two way audio

- Answer You can try removing and reinstalling the SimpliSafe app on your phone. You may be asked for permission to send notifications to your phone - make sure you select Allow! If you do have a SimpliSafe system, you'll be able to link it with the SimpliSafe app. If you have your system connected to WiFi, you'll be able to control it - and even lock and unlock your Smart Lock - from anywhere in the world.
