• A:Answer This tuner uses a satellite antenna to receive the siriusXM broadcast. You must mount the antenna somewhere it can have a good view of the sky. If you are planning on using this tuner you must make sure the receiver you are using it with has the proper connection otherwise it will not work.

• A:Answer If you use this device on a factory head unit, the factory HU will need to have native support for XM radio. If you already have XM from the factory, then this will work as an upgraded antenna. If you don't have XM from the factory, then this will not add XM to your vehicle. If you are using this on an aftermarket head unit that is XM ready, then this will work well with JBL head units, and it will pick up any stations that are within your paid subscription. For example, we added this to my 2013 Jeep Wrangler, and it had new stations that the stock head unit and the antenna did not.

• A:Answer The Alpine IVA-W200 is SAT Radio Ready. Unfortunately, the legacy Sirius and XM connection solutions have been discontinued since around 2011. You can search on-line for products like the CNP2000UCA XM Tuner and the CNPALP1 cable - or you want a Sirius solution, you can try and find the Alpine KCA-SC100 and a Sirius SCC1 tuner.

• A:Answer From my experience, the car radio has to be XM ready to accept the XM tuner. My truck had an OEM radio/nav with XM, and I just installed a Pioneer with Android Auto that was XM ready. I installed the XM tuner and now have XM with the radio alone or thru the app on Andriod Auto. If your new car radio is not XM capable, I do not believe the XM tuner will work.

• A:Answer No, the 2023 Kia Sportage is not compatible with the SiriusXM connect tuner. The connect tuner is only compatible with head units that display the "SiriusXM Ready" logo. However if your KIA radio has an Aux Input then all of our dock and play radios and the new Roady BT radio are compatible with your head unit.
