They have a good lock in, but the profile is cumbersome compared to better or equal valued buds. I suggest JBL vibes if you're in the market for budget buds. Same pricing, same lock in, better sound out of the box and unlike these skullcandy's. No sweat build up. The case for grinds causes the buds to end up not charging and after 3 months fails. I bought 3 pairs all had the same failures at the same rate

I'm small (petite) but my teenage son whom I purchased these for also had the problem of them popping out of the ear even with the smallest protector on . When I returned them (after 15 days) I had to lose my protection plan $just to get store credit for the initial purchase price. All in all not worth it. If u want quality without paying a lot, I'd recommend JBL or Raycon
