The earbud is dead. This is a common issue apparently with skullcandy. Mine just died yesterday, same issue: placed in charger with blinking red light but wont charge. Either get a refund if you can or go through the skullcandy warranty to get a replacement set, but be aware that the same issue can happen again.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’m not sure why it would still be blinking while in/out of the fully charged case but my first thought is that the blinking light is saying that particular bud is not fully charged yet but if it’s not maintaining a charge then it’s more than likely damaged which actually happened with the first set of earbuds that I owned from SkullCandy. I ended up returning them right after I got them because they’d be fully charged and the red light wouldn’t turn off and not operate properly by having music play out of them. That set of earbuds that I returned were SkullCandy but a different model than the one we’re referencing.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Never happened to me, but maybe you can lightly blow and wipe on the charging case and earbud.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I wasn’t getting it securely in charger. Try a gentle extra push or wiggle. Fixed my problem.
