A:AnswerI am able to remotely with the Sling Box to have access to recorded programs on my DVR. I was actually in Italy last week and watched a program I had set the DVR to record from my laptop.
A:AnswerBased on my experience, you technically could... but it would be way too clunky. You'd need to have a Miracast enabled mobile device, and internet connection (unlimited, like wi-fi) and it would be quite a pain to control unless you just want to watch your program without FF/RW, etc. I suggest just using a wireless signal sender.
good luck
A:AnswerEncode video input in near realtime and transmit to the receiving app that it connected. You need a good uplink speed to get good HD quality. Most downlinks of 6-8 meg will have no issues but uplinks need to be of about the same but higher is better or you may have to lower to 1024kb which works best for smart phones but quality will be reduced.
A:AnswerI had the same problem with mine, unfortunately some channels have protections on them that don't allow content to be sent through HDMI for anti-piracy purposes. These channels will work through the HD component cables, so they won't be sent in the same quality as HDMI allows but at least you can still watch it.
A:AnswerThe slingbox only passes video through the internet to a computer at the far end. So yes you can get this channel if you already receive it on the system you are connecting the sling box to.
A:AnswerHas to physcially be attaced to slingbox..somone slingbox for each satellite/cable box..u can add another source like a dvd/bluray player asmlong as you have a componet cables
A:AnswerNo you don't, you can hook it up with conventional wiring (yellow, red, green, etc.) or use HDM; it works. The cool thing is that even if you do not have hinder tv, I'm pretty sure if younwatch on a tablet capable of handling it, your good to go!!
