You can, but be sure it’s rated for 220 and for the right amperage. Most dryers need a 40 amp circuit, some need 50. Be sure the breaker is the right amperage as well. If you don’t have the manual to check what your dryer needs, go on YouTube and find a video. You should also use wire that doesn’t need to be in a conduit, just ask at the store if it’s safe to run it outside a conduit. (Obviously if it going into a conduit it won’t matter.)
