• It will fit units up to 160 lbs. It will effectively accomodate a 8000 BTU unit.

• Yes. Works up to 160 pounds. I used it on my 14000 BTU unit which weighs around 120 pounds. You might even be able to use the next size smaller for 8000 BTU. Check the weight.

• Yes you can . I just installed my Fridgidaire 12,000 BTU . It’s adjustable.
