• This bracket is for a window unit. Installation requires drilling 3 holes into the window frame. The air conditioner sits on top of the bracket. The two are not secured to each other.

• Yes, it’s for a window. Yes it attaches to the window frame with two screws. No instructions in the kit for attaching the A/C to the bracket and running screws into the A/C unit is unadvised. If you feed the need to secure the A/C to the bracket assembly a lightweight cargo strap might work.
