“Can you use liter bottles from other soda waters bought in stores or can only Soda Stream bottles be used ?”

Only Soda Stream bottles can be used. There is CO2 pressure involved, and the seals must be tight. (Also, the Soda Stream connectors/fittings are different from any other bottle I've seen. I can't imagine any other bottle working well. It wouldn't make engineering sense.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.oh yea you can use the awa carafe it works with sodastream perfectly, made for it, and has a special lid for pouring and saving bottles so you don't need to put it in another pitcher. Looks so much nicer than the standard bottles!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I doubt you could, the thread is very wide; the bottle has to withstand higher than normal pressures too, the stock bottles have expiration dates probably for safety; so even if you could find a store bottle to fit, I wouldn't do it.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can't use other bottles. They won't fit. The neck of the bottle is wider than anything you buy at a supermarket. Also, the plastic walls of the SodaStream bottles are a lot thicker and more solid than bottles you buy from the supermarket.
