Only eufyCam, eufyCam E, eufyCam 2C/2C Pro, eufyCam 2/2 Pro, SoloCam E20, SoloCam E40 can connect the solar panel.

The panel has a 90° microUSB head on the end of the cable so as long as the S40 uses microUSB to charge, I don't see why not you can't use this. However, there probably isn't a gasket provided that will fit the S40 camera, but as long as your location won't have rain/moisture, then it should be fine. The provided gaskets are for eufyCam, eufyCam E, eufyCam 2, eufyCam 2 Pro, eufyCam 2C, eufyCam 2C Pro.
