• No, you just mount the solar panel, run your wire to the camera and plug it in. Nothing else to do.

• After installing the solar panels there is nothing that you need to do to the app. Just click on device health and watch the battery power increase day by day. I installed 2 panels and 1 battery strength went to 100% after 2 days. The other is struggling to maintain 8%. But it might because of the angle.
