Think of it as a wifi router that you carry with you so that you can connect to the internet. Solis sells internet data plans separately to use with this device. In other words you can't use a mobile plan that you are already using from another provider. It comes with 1 gb of data for life if you buy the device that offers this. You should go to the Solis website and read up on the device and the service. You Tube also has videos that may be helpful to you. You have to buy the data plan separate from the device.
