• Yes, the beam needs to be connected to the HDMI ARC port on the tv. And blu ray can be connected to any other hdmi port on the tv.

• Connect via hdmi arc on tv if you want to turn your tv on and off as well as control volume with your voice...DVD connect to alt hdmi port on tv

• It depends on your TV, but the majority of set ups have everything connected to the TV and then one HDMI connection from the TV to the Beam for your sound. Your best bet is to speak with an associate who can help determine the best set up configuration for your TV.
