No. The five is designed to be stand alone, or as a pair but not as tv surrounds.

I don't know your specific setup but I can tell you that I have a Vizio TV with a Roku stick and my sound comes from a pair of Sonos Five's and a Sonus soundbar. The TV automatically takes control of the speakers when it turns on but I can override the TV and have the speakers play music from the Sonos app. All in all, a pretty impressive system and it works quite reliably. The Sonos App set up the whole thing. I did it a while ago but I don't recall it being a problem to get it all working.
