QuestionCan the Amazon Alexa/Google Assistant service be turned off on the device? Or is the device always listening?

- Answer Hi, and thank you for your question! It's a great one! Yes, the mics can be turned off, and if you never set up the voice assistant, the mic never turns on. All of our speakers have a microphone button that easily allows you to do this. For extra assurance, we hardwired the power for the microphone light directly to the power for the button. This means "light is off, mic is off" ... no way around it!

QuestionDoes the iPhone put out stereo waves? If so, if I buy one speaker now and later buy another, will I get stereo,(or better), sound?

- Answer Hi, and thank you for you question. It's not really about the iphone putting out stereo. It's about what format the audio is recorded in. So if the music you're listening to is in stereo (which virtually all is) then you'll get stereo from our products. Now, we do our best to replicate stereo our of one Sonos speaker, however you can stereo pair our products. A speaker like Roam is so small that it's hard to fit the hardware for a big stereo experience. If you'd like to stereo pair Roams you can, but only over wifi. No bluetooth. So one Roam is your left channel and the other is the right.

- Answer Alexa or Google Assistant functions, and any other Sonos-specific features only work with WiFi, not with Bluetooth

- Answer Yes, I have a sound bar and a Play 5, and it pairs. As long as the app "sees" them (being in the same network)

QuestionI have a Hisense Roku TV, - will this Roam Unit work with this type of TV across the room, so that it's not necessary to turn the TV volume to maximum to be heard over the Air Conditioner ?

- Answer Thank you for your question. Roam is not designed to work with tv's alone. To play tv audio through Roam, you would first need one of our soundbars. Then, you can group Roam with our soundbar to play the same thing at the same time eg your Tv.

- Answer Yes - this speaker will connect to any Sonos system and will act as another TV speaker to work with the Beam soundbar. You could have a Sonos Roam speaker right by your head to augment the soundbar audio from your TV and hear voices clearly without having to crank up the soundbar too loud.

QuestionI have an old cd changer and tuner/transmitter system and want to pickup the cd’s from the house to outdoors on a bluetooth/wireless speaker platform. Is this something I can do with the Sonos? and how?

- Answer Yes! Our first recommendation is to get a product that supports line in (Port, Amp, Five) and plug your CD changer into that. Then, group the rest of you Sonos speakers wirelessly to play the same thing through different speakers. Port, and Amp both have analog line in, however Five only has auxiliary. So keep that in mind.

- Answer Hi, and thank you for your question. We can guarantee that our speakers will play the same thing at the same time on wifi. However, on bluetooth it really depends on the device your streaming from. Most devices don't support multiple bluetooth streams.

- Answer Simply put, no. You can get stereo sound with two roams but as of right now can’t connect as part of the 5.1.
