I have been use the sony 1000xm2's for a month and they feel comfortable on my ears. However a colleague at work has the QC35 not the QC35 II and when I tried them on for comparison they felt more comfortable. I think the reason is that the earcups on the QC35 are wider side to side and the inside of the earcup has a steeper angle to allow for a more space for your ear to fit inside the earcup. For my ears the bose felt like they had more space inside the earcup for my ears. This also created a little more of a feeling that they were surrounding my ears. I think the inside of the sony's sit slightly against the outside of my ear which for long usage periods can be noticeable. They thing I notice about the bose comfort is that they are lighter so they don't feel like they "sit" on your head as much.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have Bose QC 25's, which have the same size ear cups as the QC 35's. I purchased the Sony's and can confidently say that the cups are equal in size. The Bose are so comfortable! I think that they are head and shoulders more comfortable than any ohter headphone made. That being said, the Sony;s are very comfortable too. They would be top of the line comfort if the Bose didn't exist. I too was contemplating the Sony's vs the Bose QC 35's. I was biased towards the Bose since I already had the 25's and loved them, but the Sony's are just so much better at playing music! Afterall, that's what is most important. After having used my 1000xm2's for a month now, I don't even miss the comfort ot the Bose anymore. The Sony's are great. I'm a big guy with normal size ears as far as I know. My ears fit inside the ear cups the exact same. Go to a store and try both on to make sure before you purchase them is the best advice.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Alex, If that is the case go with Bose, because Sony's will rest on your ear & you'll feel uncomfortable after 30 mins, i used both Bose & these, Bose are the best in comfort
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.personally sony didnt fit me so i bought qc35 ii and was very comfortable
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I was too looking for a wireless head set for moving around and work. The Sony WH‑1000XM2 ear cup are little narrow. i also tried the bose qc35 felt the same as my wired ones i have. Since you mention your ear size. bose would probably be better because i own a wired noise cancelling that is similar to bose qc35. Sony ones are nice but the ear cup can bug you after use for a bit. I recommend go in the best buy and try them. if your ears arent wide. sony ones may work for you but they are little narrow.
