• Yes it will without a problem. It has all the possible configurations up to 7.2

• Yes that's fine, use front and rear L/R and center channel, along with a sub. You could even use the other two channels for a speaker in an adjoining room.

• I used it for two speakers until I upgraded to 5.1, then 7.2. It will work for any number of speakers.
