A:AnswerHi, I have an 55' 4K vizio smart tv with this soundbar and sub. The soundbar gives nice, clear and quality sound while the sub gives a necessary kick to add suspense to a dramatic movie. The soundbar and sub also works with Bluetooth with your phone and delivers loud but quality sound as well for your music. Find an optical cord and connect the two (tv and soundbar(sub connects wirelessly) and setup is already done.
Hopefully this answered your question!
A:AnswerYes it will. For best results, connect it to the HDMI ARC port with an HDMI cable. Any HDMI cable is fine for HD audio pass through. No need to spring for monster Cable.
A:AnswerYes, You can Link this to any Echo device via Bluetooth, only caveat is that you have to manually switch the soundbar from TV to BT in order to hear Alexa linked content once paired. I have my Echo DOT paired and it works great!
To connect the HT-CT390 Soundbar speaker to your Echo device via Bluetooth:
Turn on pairing mode on your Bluetooth speaker. If you don't know how to do this, refer to the user guide for your Bluetooth speaker.
Open the Alexa app.
Go to the menu and select Alexa Devices.
Select your device.
Select Bluetooth Devices.
Select Pair a New Device.
Your Echo device enters pairing mode. When your Echo device discovers your Bluetooth speaker (should display as "HT-CT390").
Select it if prompted, and the speaker will appear in the list of available of devices in the Alexa apps Bluetooth/Wireless list in that same Alexa settings menu once successfully paired.
Tip: To connect to a previously paired device, say, "Connect." Your Echo device connects to the device that was last connected.
Once paired, Alexa will know it verbally as HTCT390 (displays as HT-CT390)
Now the fun!
Verify the Soundbar MODE is set to BT
Command Alexa to play sound from any linked app you normally use...Output should be from Soundbar.
Alexa should automatically switch to use the paired soundbar automatically whenever the soundbar is turned on and set to BT mode.
Soundbar will need to be manually switched back to TV mode to listen to TV output.
NOTE: In this scenario, the soundbar is still on...Alexa may still be paired and attempt output to BT, so you may also need to disconnect Alexa from Bluetooth if you want to keep soundbar On while watching TV. (cannot output from Alexa AND TV at same time)
Powering off the soundbar will transfer TV audio back to TV and Alexa output back to Alexa device speakers automatically.
NOTE My Soundbar shuts off automatically when TV or BT output is not present after awhile.
Some additional commands I found I can use to interact directly with the HT-CT390 from Alexa (not many yet...still playing)
If only this is the Bluetooth device paired to Alexa, say "Alexa turn on/off Bluetooth " to have Alexa enable/disable the link to soundbar...which also returns audio to the echo internal speakers.
If multiple Bluetooth devices are connected to your Alexa network, you may also need to specify the Soundbar by its paired name "HTCT390" (no dash).
"Alexa, connect Bluetooth on HTCT390"
Alexa, disconnect Bluetooth on HTCT390
Enjoy!
A:AnswerYeah if it's a Bluetooth issue and it won't connect.....sad to ya you have to take it back to bestbuy to have a tech look at it. Worst situation they'll send it to Sony to take care of it. I had the same situation. But luckily the manager was kind enough to just replace my sound bar.
A:AnswerHi Wino, please refer to the link below for more information about the dimensions. Thanks! ^Ron

A:AnswerHi Mike, The bar speaker does not have an output jack for additional subwoofer, and the wireless connection (secure link) is only dedicated to the supplied subwoofer. -Jerome
