Q: QuestionWhy does Best Buy offer good prices on stuff that's no available? It happens ALL the time the past year or 2. Makes me wonder why do I bother with Best Buy anymore. Everything used to be available but now products are not in stock if it's a good deal

Q: QuestionI own a Sony HandyCam 40X on the DVD access door it is printed DVD RW. It also has +R DL Compatible. Are these the only DVD's I can use with this camcorder? What is the difference between the DVD-R and DVD+RW? How much actual record time is on each?

• A:Answer These are not tapes-they are mini-DVD's to fit in a DVD Camcorder. All PC's and DVD-ROM players also accept these as there is a built in indentation for this size disk as well as the full size CD or DVD. Too many Manufacturers to name but a few are Sony, Panasonic, Hitachi, Samsung, GE, and Phillips. Most will record DVD +R and -R disks, as well as DVD-RW disks. They are all different formats, but the Manufacturer usually makes it compatible with a variety of blank DVD's.

• A:Answer All PC's and DVD players has a smaller indentation where you put the disk and it fits there in any of the players or recorders. It is a standard size DVD although only half the size of a full size DVD disk.

• A:Answer Some DVD recorders or mini DVD camcorders only take a certain type of DVD disc. Some take the DVD t R , while others take the DVD -R. You must use the one that your DVD recorder or Mini DVD camcorder calls for or they will not work in your device.
