There is a menu for HDMI input options to enable variable refresh rate as long as the device supports it. It works for PC so it should also be supported for PS5/XSX.

Thank you for your question. The X85K supports VRR on HDMI 3 & 4. The TV works well with gaming consoles like an Xbox. However, they are not certified for FreeSync which appears in PC gaming software.
