Why my 4k sony tv turn on by itself? null

PROBABLY BECAUSE YOUR SETTINGS REQUIRE IT TO DO THAT. DO THIS: 1} Press the "HOME" key on your remote 2} Select "External Inputs" 3} Go down to "Bravia Sync Settings" 4) Uncheck ""TV Auto Power On" if the selector is to the right. THAT SHOULD FIX YOUR ISSUE...HOPEFULLY.

My Sony bravia TV keeps turning on by itself

I have a XBR-55X800E that is also randomly turning on - sometimes waking me up in the middle of the night! I'm going to try the Braiva Sync Settings fix. For my TV, I had to hit the "Sync Menu" button on the remote, BRAVIA Sync Settings, and then turn off "Bravia Sync Control". Hopefully this will work.
