How many LED Zones for the Sony XBR-55X850D? null

The Sony XBR55X850D does have "Local Dimming" that uses LED Zones, it is used "Edge Backlighting". See http://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/sony/x850d for an in depth review and specs.

Not sure but I wouldn't purchase this TV save yourself the trouble
