“Does the Sony 850b 65 " have as many problems with 3d viewing when watching high action type movies as many claim? I love 3d & passive glasses! Thx! I have had heard many complaints that the 3d is horrible in this tv & that Sony has been very difficult to work with. They say that they have no intentions of trying to correct the problem. I have ordered this tv & did not read the reviews ahead of time. I love 3d & the passive glasses. Is this worth getting for the 3d or not???? I hope that I am not going to regret getting this tv!!!!! Please help!!!!!! Sony tvs have usually been very nice in the past! I pray it works well!!!!!! Thanks!!!!!”

Yes in some action scenes the 3D is overwhelming but this is the same with powered glasses on other tv's I reviewed. I love my tv and just watched the third movie of the Hobbit and it was flawless. If you got it to watch 3D all the time you might be disappointed. But the 4k is amazing and don't think you will be upset

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought this TV and yes, the 3D is not that great. I replaced a 55"LG 3D and that TV had amazing 3D (it's now in my bedroom). However, in my case, the 4K looked so amazing that I decided not to go through the hassle of packing it up and returning it. Needless to say, I don't watch much 3D anymore. Had I known this, I would have just spent a little more and invested in the 65"LG 3D 4K instead. The Sony gives us a bit of a headache when watching, especially during action sequences. :(
