  • QuestionDoes the htg700 sound bar fit under the A8H tv?

    • Answer Yes. There are 2 different types of stands/feet that come with it. One is flat which you would not be able to put the sound bar under it, which I used because I had a shelf to put the sound bar and the other feet lift the tv up.

    • Answer apps preinstalled are netflix, amazon prime, youtube. you can pretty much download any app, just have to search for it. you can use chromecast, which is built in. also has airplay for screen mirroring.

    • Answer I haven’t seen any noticeable glare with mine, but I admit I readily control the lighting in my room because of my black out curtains but I do like to occasionally let in the daylight but was not irritated or had my viewing experience hampered at all.

    • Answer The DVR function on the remote just controls your DVR if you have one. The DVR is not built into the TV.

  • QuestionI purchased a LG - 65" Class - OLED - Curved - 2160p - Smart -3D - 4K Ultra HD TV - with Dynamic Range, from our local Best Buy on November 26, 2016. I have significant 'burn-in' issues and now I have been told of a loss of a HDMI failure. Help!

    • Answer I'm not sure what you're getting at. OLED televisions are susceptible to burn in so you need to keep that in mind when using it. Playing the same game constantly, watching only movies that display a black bar above and below due to the aspect ratio or leaving a show with consistent patterns (CNBC, Weather Channel, etc.) will kill your TV - especially if you have it set to "vivid" or other high brightness setting. I have no idea what you are referring to when you say total loss of HDMI failure. That is a completely different issue.

  • QuestionI am interested in not agreeing to the terms of third-party junk. I prefer a dumb TV in that area. I like some privacy.Given personal security concerns a Salesman at Best Buy said LG had the easier way of not agreeing to those terms than Sony. Do they?Thx

The limited TV includes live TV, as well as external devices and a limited selection of pre-installed apps. If you want to take advantage of the full features and capabilities and more apps selections, we highly recommend setting this TV up with a Google account and may include some Sony terms as well.
